YMCA Change Agents met online on 29 May 2021, representing the eight years of the programme to date, and the four cohorts of young leaders.
It was a chance to reconnect, and plan.
World YMCA President Patricia Pelton said: “While we may be late in organizing this intersection of YMCA Change Agents, please don’t let that detract from the importance that World YMCA attaches to each of you. We follow what you do … You are all valuable resources to the YMCA and to communities everywhere. You are leaders!”
World YMCA Secretary General Carlos Sanvee shared a draft of ‘Vision 2030’ – the global YMCA’s roadmap for the next decade – in which, he said, the Change Agents are called to be key players.
