In Tokyo, the Enhesa project brought together volunteers, YMCA staff, and the community for a Christmas Open House in December. This festive event served as an opportunity to showcase YMCA activities, build connections and strengthen friendships.
Enhesa staff played an active role, running the International Café and Origami booth alongside students from Ukraine. The booths offered fun, creativity, and a chance to engage with visitors while sharing insights about the YMCA’s programmes.
An Enhesa volunteer said about the experience: “It was a great opportunity to learn about YMCA programmes and meet many people. It also allowed us to introduce Enhesa to YMCA staff and the community.”
