In Macedonia, the first local YMCA was formed in 1999 in Skopje. YMCA Macedonia is a full member of YMCA Europe since 2008. Today in Macedonia there are two local YMCA associations in Skopje and Bitola, which unite as YMCA Macedonia. The headquarters of YMCA Macedonia is based in Bitola, providing activities and opportunities for more than 2,000 young people annually. Its main programmes are: voluntary service, Y training camps, festivals, healthy lifestyle, Y-Movies and Y-Comics, blogs.
