The YMCA Accelerator Summit in Mombasa, 21-25 October 2024 will assemble some 450+ people from 60+ countries, at the midway point between the YMCA World Councils of 2022 and 2026. Their task is to capture, evaluate, celebrate and accelerate our collective work towards implementing ‘YMCA Vision 2030’ and its four Pillars: Community Wellbeing, Meaningful Work, Sustainable Planet, Just World. Most attendees are from YMCA (leaders, younger and older), while some 20-30 are from high-profile external partners. Beyond the event, the entire global YMCA Movement is watching: this Summit is ultimately for them.
