On December 16th 2012 our organization implemented important project in the field of the civil society:

One hundred sixty four children were given Christmas presents .This event was consisted of two parts: donations and program for kids.

The event was formally opened by the Consul of Slovak Republic in Montenegro Mrs. Monika Suhajdova Podsklanova and YMCA Montenegro President of the Management Board Mr. Michal Spevak. Dance club Phoenix from Herceg Novi presented themselves with six choreographies which were highly appreciated by the youngest.

Among VIPs attending the event we emphasize the presence of the head of mission of UNDP in Montenegro Mr. Rastislav Vrbensky, representatives of YMCA Europe, representatives of Montenegrin Ministry of Finance, Customs Administration, daily press etc.

For this event YMCA Montenegro raised funds and in-kind contribution from the local community of total value of 3000, 00 Euro. Event was held in Podgorica, capital city of Montenegro. The target group of children (structure of social groups) covered by this program:

On December 23rd the YMCA Montenegro team of thirty six mountaineers has visited Bjelasica Mountain exploring its resources and enjoying its beauty. They gathered in front of the Technical Faculties in Podgorica waiting for the bus that drove us to small town, Mojkovac which is situated high in the mountains, the north part of Montenegro.

Radonja Srdanovic and Nina Radisevic, YMCA Montenegro members were the leaders and organizers of this expedition. They made this story true despite the very difficult and poor conditions and lack of funds. They are both under the age of 30 and represent the youth spirit of national organization.
