Many young people in Colombia face significant challenges as they transition into adulthood, including unemployment, multidimensional poverty, limited opportunities for civic participation, and growing mental health concerns.
For 22 years, Paza la Paz has been empowering youths through a comprehensive leadership and development model that delivers more than 80 hours of experiential, peer-to-peer learning. The programme focuses on strengthening socio-emotional skills, exploring employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, and equipping young people with the leadership tools needed to address challenges within their communities.
1,300+ young leaders annually across seven regions of Colombia gets trained through Paza la Paz and participants have been designing community initiatives that have reached more than 7,500 people, and lead advocacy actions that promote social transformation and demonstrate the power of young people as active agents of change.
