Here we feature the Eleva programme. Funded by YMCA USA, YMCA Canada, Hollister Foundation and Delta Airlines, Eleva was implemented by YMCAs in Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. It has supported more than 1,400 young people and key mentoring adults since 2022, building individual and community wellbeing in body, mind and spirit through over 1,000 hours of workshops. It also reached millions through social media campaigns aimed at destigmatising concerns over mental health.
