Held each year on June 6th – the YMCAs birthday -the World Challenge is an annual opportunity to invite everyone to their local YMCA and to hear of the life-changing missional work being done by the YMCA in that local community.
This year’s theme is “give young people a voice”.
Globally we are responding to our YMCA One Million Voices Research that identified that ‘having a voice’ was a major need for young people and that “giving them a voice” is a major form of empowerment.
YMCAs everywhere wil be participating in many creative ways to show their local young people and their communities that they care about them and they want their voice to be heard.
