The ACJ-YMCA Honduras has carried out actions in the developing areas of Tegucicalpa, the capital of Honduras, and in some rural communities in the departments of Copán, Intibuca, Comayagua and La Paz. The ACJ-YMCA developed projects that include violence prevention, sexual health, gender, youth leadership, advocacy and lobbying, computers, preventive maintenance of computers, graphic design, and micro-enterprise for young entrepreneurs. The ACJ-YMCA Honduras has strengthened its ties in the community with educational centers, municipal governments and civil society organizations.
