Our world is home to the largest generation of young people in history. Nearly 1.8 billion people are between the ages of 15 and 24. When empowered, young people can build resilience in their communities even though they are among the most vulnerable populations and are disproportionately affected by changes in the world.
Vision 2030 gives the YMCA Movement a historic opportunity to unite behind a common vision for a world where every person lives in harmony with self, with society and with creation. In this world, every young person has the chance to be and to lead the change they want to see. YMCAs in 120 countries are uniquely positioned to give young people the opportunity to learn.
