World Challenge 2014 Video Call

Date: 02 May 2014

In 2012, YMCAs from across the movement participated in an original video project now famously known as ‘The Y-Pass.’ Videos were filmed and sent from places such as the Taj Mahal in India, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the fjords in Iceland, amongst others. This year for the World Challenge 2014, we need everyone’s help again with something even greater: the global ‘Stand4Youth’ video.

In the spirit of the ‘Y-Pass’, the global ‘Stand4Youth’ video is also a worldwide collaborative effort that will need your contribution for it to be a success. The idea is simple. Together we will visualise the ‘Global Declaration for Youth’ through 6 different actions. To make things easy, we have provided an instructional video that you can see above.

We invite everyone to be a part of it by following the instructions on the screen and then sending their videos to:  challenge@ymca.int by May 19th. The final version of the video, made with contributions from all around the world, will be released in the days prior to the World Challenge 2014 in the month of June.

So what are you waiting for? Go get a bunch of friends and film your video!
