Join us this fall for the first YMCA voyage to Cuba – Oct 21- 27 – 2016Cub

Join YMCA colleagues and make new friends as we discuss and explore the role of the local YMCA in peace efforts at home and around the world.Beginning in 2015, the Peace Boat and the World YMCA partnered towards their mutual goals of promoting youth empowerment, international
exchange and building a culture of peace and sustainability.

Certain segments of Peace Boat voyages are dedicated to YMCA curriculum, including Global Citizenship, School of Peace and Change
Agents Global Gatherings. The Peace Boat provides a unique, neutral, and mobile space for pursuing the common goal of building peace through international exchange and dialogue.

The 92nd Global Voyage departed Yokohama, Japan on August 18th and will return to Yokohama, Japan on November 30th after visiting 26 ports in
Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean.

The YMCA sponsored section leaves from New York on October 21st, visits
Nassau on October 24th and ends in Havana, Cuba on October  27th.
