The International YMCA Family Centre appears as a further alternative to the three already existing centers of the YMCA in the country for the work with people from the surrounding communities mainly through education and capacity building activities for young people and children.
Representatives from different YMCAs in the Region and from other continents participated in the inauguration ceremony that happened during the YMCA World Urban Network meeting in Dominican Republic.
The direction of the new centre, which has the biggest YMCA logo in the Caribbean area, is located in the Street 2 no. 49 (between 9 and 11) Ensanche Isabelita, Santo Domingo Este.
