In a “Youth Building a Sustainable City Forum” held Friday, 15 March 2024, in Colombia, young people from YMCA Bogotá generated a space for dialogue and action. There, they addressed issues such as overcoming poverty, building a Sustainable Planet and seeking peace.
More than 400 young people are attending to influence policy and change in Bogotá.
“Our goal is to build concrete proposals for the development plan of Bogotá” they said, with the active participation of local officials and prominent universities. Along with creating a planet for their and future generations, such actions are needed to ensure an equitable and Just World for all.
